Personal Bio
Joseph Weber lives in Washington’s Columbia Heights neighborhood with partner Beth Emelson and their daughter, Beatrix.
Weber was born and raised in Baltimore and graduated from Calvert Hall College High School. He earned an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Maryland and studied for his master’s at John Hopkins University.
He is a member of St. Joseph on Capitol Hill, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Maryland and the L’Enfant Society, a group of young professionals that raises money to restore the National Mall.
His hobbies include running, surfing, reading and renovating his 85-year-old home.
Weber is a five-time Boston Marathon qualifier and was a lifeguard for 20 seasons on Delaware and North Carolina beaches.
